"Rachael is teaching to the whole family. Piano for parents and one son and guitar for our other son. My wife did not initially start lessons with her but after seeing our progress she was so happy to start learning piano! Rachael is VERY patient and professional, and the teaching method is very consistent and makes us progress fast. We learn quickly reading while playing and improve technique. We are all very enthusiastic about her lessons!"

"This is our first year of music lessons and working with Rachael BUT, while it’s only been a short while, I believe that her expertise has enabled our children (ages 7 and 5) to move quickly. One of the many things I appreciate about Rachael is how she allows the child to navigate their likes and dislikes and gives them much autonomy. This has allowed my children to discover their musical talents and invest their time wisely, in a way that will foster their growth. I really appreciate this about Rachael. Secondly, she has been very flexible with her time as we have had many changes in our schedule for various reasons and she has consistently been willing to come at various times, even with a last minute request. Most recently, we had an instrument that broke and she was very generous in finding us a back up in the interim without hesitation. Her generosity comes from a place that desires to see her students succeed as she stated “the kids will really have fun and discover new sounds”. Lastly, Rachael is very patient, yet, keeps the kids focused and on task. Overall, I would highly recommend Rachael for your musical instructor for her creativity, patience, flexibility, knowledge of music and the desire to see people discover a love for music."

"Rachael is a patient guitar teacher. When my son does not understand anything, she is able to break it down down for him. My son is 8 and she had been teaching him over a year and he is progressing wonderfully with her. Anywhere he needs to work more on, she lets the parents and child know so they can improve. He always looks forward to his lessons."

"My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Rachael for over a year now. She likes her lessons a lot and made a big progress in one year. Rachael is a very responsible and attentive teacher. She keeps my daughter motivated to learn more. Her choice of the teaching materials is very good and my daughter has several favorite pieces that she keeps playing over and over again. Rachael also introduces some music theory that prepares her young students for future more complicated compositions. Our family has had a very positive experience with this teacher."
